knitwit: fancy tube skirts

In the last knitting class of the year, I took a picture of a classmate's knitting project. It might not look that stunning lying flat like this, but it did look fantastic on her.

And there my fingers started tickling. It only takes a fancy stitch and a nice thread to spice up a simple tube shape. Circular knitting needles would make it a perfectly adorable on-the-go knitting project, and given that I like to wear my skirts rather short it wouldn't even take long to finish.

Some internet browsing only supported my new plan...
