My current favourite pastime: making illustrations for www.alledagenhonger.be.
A delicious blog for (Dutch-speaking) foodies, filled with passion and care by two ladies from Antwerp. I did the website design and will be making more illustrations for their upcoming series. They sound promising, so keep close watch!




Johanna Goyvaerts is web editor for Njam!, a Belgian culinary channel and magazine. She loves to hunt after recipes and the stories behind them, as she's doing now in Paris (see poster). Tell me, how many people would undertake such an adventure for a newborn blog? That's what I call dedication! Her enthusiastic mails are simply heartwarming in off-days, and I'm sure her cooking is, too. If she'd ever decide to fulfill her dream and write a cookbook, I'd do everything to support her. Even eat liver with sprouts.

Barbara Serulus is the thriving force behind theatre company SKaGeN, who staged a lovely live silent movie in the parks around town this summer. Barbara appeared as Barbzilla in the closing credits, need I say more? If someone has the guts to start her own culinary business, I'm confident it's her. Barbara lives right above us and leaves presents at my door all the time. Last week only I received a pair of handmade scissors from Vietnam, a pack of dark crispy chocolate and an Egon Schiele postcard. Asking me kindly if I would, maybe, make a few more illustrations? Really, they now how to pull my strings!

We'll be having our first real dinner party soon, I'm hungry already...
