december snaps

This month, we bought ourselves a new toy: an ipod.

It's a pretty amazing tool and a great gadget to waste time with. My favourite apps are the ones that take pictures, like Instagram. You can pick whatever camera you want, take a snap of whatever lies on your plate - literally, sometimes - and dip it in a visual sauce that fits the mood of the moment. Great fun. Too bad though any pretty pictures you make can't transcend their low-res digital lives. Or maybe I just haven't found the way to save high-res versions yet. Have you?

While I'm waiting for daylight to take some decent pictures of my newborn booklet, I might just as well post the wish lists I've been puzzling together for some weeks. Just because I like to see things organised neatly. And it makes me feel all Christmassy.

treasure hunting

The last two weekends were really nice. I spent a great deal of time in the lovely pop-up shops that, well, popped up around the city. Met a few treasurable people, like Hermine (she has blogged about our first date on Journal de jours - I totally agree with you Hermine, we should do something together!). And I also found a couple of treasures to take home.
