sunshine

Just got a sunshine award from Renilde.
Thanks, I need some energy and only the sun can bring it!
When receiving the award you are asked to aswer some sunshine
questions and then pass the award to five people who deserve
some ray of sunshine too.

I looked for the most sunny pictures I had... The first one is from about five years ago I think (time goes quick!), but I still love it. Back then I didn't live in the city yet. My childhood friend Isabelle took the picture when we had our weekly walk in the fields. The second photo is from last summer's trip to Denmark.

favorite color: mint, tomato red, pine green, mustard, navy blue
favorite animal: parrots
favorite non-alcoholic drink: iced latte, or a good juice
facebook or twitter: facebook
getting or giving presents: giving selfmade presents is the best!
favorite flower: I love plants without flowers, or whatever grows in the garden or the field
favorite pattern: hmmm. I'm a huge pattern lover, but don't have a favorite? Ethnic patterns or Bauhaus tapestry are always inspiring.
passion: crafting, collaging, filing through magazines and art books, eating, collecting pictures, visiting cities
favorite number: 3
Gerlin, Annelies, Polly, Joke and Sophie, may the sun shine upon you ladies!

working

Only iphone photos these days, my camera is in treatment...

Pampering myself a bit with good food (look there, my favourite greyish jeans fit me again, oh my I've missed them this winter!) and working on a collective exhibit/market/interactive installation at Bar Leon. It's called 'Boîte aux lettres' and it's next week already! Ouch!

My contribution will be a little last-minute, but I'm doing my best to make something fine anyway.
I'm curious to see what the others have made... Let's take a peek together:

This weekend was simply delicious, as every lazy weekend should be. Every day seemed to revolve around food. With a leading role for Antwerp's two most innovative and playful female food combos: Alle dagen honger and Otark

hello back

Do you still know me? I won't be mad if you don't, I have been quite absent lately...
Why, I haven't even shown you the new year pics I liked so much. Well here they are, the Belgian sea at its best (with firm wind, and no sunbathers).

My first month went so fast I could barely follow. I started with getting used to my new work base Fresh 15, where I can draw, read and surf among beautiful clothes and get paid for it too (come and say hi if you're around - Lombardenvest 15, Antwerp)! Then I travelled under the canal for my eagerly awaited first acquaintance with the London buzz. After merely one day of rest, I hopped on the train to Southern France for a total submergence in the international comic scene at the comic festival of Angoulême. An experience it was. Like a summer camp for slightly peculiar grown-ups.
And last week... I just don't know which project to start on first.

So, hello back. Looking forward to see how your year's been advancing. More pictures of my minor adventures soon.
